Just around the corner

Enjoying painting close to home these days.  I get up around 6:20, take a walk (before the sweltering weather happens), then head out to do a quick painting.

It's the best part of my day...seems I am on line a lot and in preparation for the big show I am doing with Jonathan Grauel in Debtember. I started to correct that typo.  But. Well.  You know.

I'm experimenting with surfaces these days.  These 8 x 10" paintings are on ray mar boards and carton boatds(just a lightweight, brown paper bag colored surface). Would love to get a handle on these so that I can easily travel. Plus I love the color.

All this is practice for the Piedmont Paint Out.  Also in Debt Tember.
